ISU XR Lab operates at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and design. Our team includes VR developers, computer scientists, mechanical engineers, and healthcare specialists, working together to push the limits of immersive technology.
From VR-based wind simulation and robotic haptics to virtual surgery planning and smart wearables, we prototype real-world solutions powered by AI, XR, and 3D visualization tools.
We believe in building experiences that matter. Our projects focus on medical training, urban safety, and assistive technologies—bringing meaningful change to education, healthcare, and research.
At ISU XR Lab, we specialize in cutting-edge Virtual and Augmented Reality applications, focusing on immersive training, medical simulations, and smart environments. Backed by TÜBİTAK and European funding programs, our interdisciplinary team bridges research and real-world solutions. Under the leadership of Dr. Şenol Pişkin, the lab integrates haptics, AI, and sensor-based XR systems to address complex challenges in education, medicine, and engineering.
ISU XR Lab has an established track record of success in nationally and internationally funded projects. We have been actively involved in research supported by the Horizon Europe Programme, TÜBİTAK 1001 and 3501 grants, MSCA Doctoral Networks, and the COST Action framework. These collaborations reflect our commitment to high-impact research, cross-border innovation, and excellence in immersive technologies.
